Bill has been focused on Lotus Notes for at least the last 14 years, and is a director of hadsl - a Lotus Domino ISV specialising in automation and delegation of user identies in complex environments.

He's a dual PCLP in v3, v4, v5, v6 and v7, and when he gets time, will probably do the nd8 exams too. He lives between Aberdeen and Dundee, next to a pub and with his beloved SWMBO and The Squid.

He's presented at DNUG, iLUG, UKLUG, Lotusphere, The View, EntwickerCamp and AdminCamp, and is generally found near a bar, wittering on about web services, Object Oriented Lotusscript, marriage and beer.

Outside of IT, Bill generally models in the 'Before' pictures for elective surgery advertisements, and acts as a crash-test dummy for kevlar vest companies.

Neil has been a long term advocate of good technology and applying it to good use to foster collaboration within and beyond organizations. He has been working with Lotus products since Notes 3.0 and been involved across the product range in his many years working in the IBM Channel.

Not long after Lotus Connections was announced and just as it was released Neil got involved in organizing the first "Connectr" event as a Special Interest Group for the product and related topics. Along with tremendous support from a number of colleagues he has managed to run events at both the UK WebSphere User Group and Lotus User Group, running events in England, Scotland, Ireland and the USA at 2009's Lotusphere, with special guests including David Snowden, David Gurteen, and the two Luises Suarez and Benitez.

He is delighted that the small acorn of an idea for an event has survived and has grown into a mighty sapling! Come along to Connectr #8 and see what happens next - these sessions are always lively, interactive and a little bit different, with favourites such as the now famous "Buzzword
Bingo" and "What's the Connection?" to keep you entertained and informed - expect no less at this session.

He's not here to sell you stuff. He's not here to be sold stuff. But he may well make a few people exclaim "Oh sh...!"

Steve McDonagh is many things however, some of things he is not are :-
a snappy dresser, a member of the Dasypodidae family (although he would like to be), an astronaut, a 6th dan morris dancer, or very good at writing bios.

The less interesting but more pertinent things are he works for an American/Japanese Electronics company as their resident Notes Guru.
In the 25 years as an IT professional with said company he has passed through Operations, Tech Support and Development departments.

He has been working with Notes/Domino since 1995 with his time fairly equally divided between admin and development roles. Currently pushing to maximize the value from our Domino/Notes/Quickr/Sametime investment with special interest in Web app deployments.

President of SNAPPS, collaboration strategist and architect. Rob Novak, or LotusRockStar as he is known in the wild, has a tendency to go on and on about cool things his team does with Lotus software. So much so that a few years ago, he got the hint and started serving alcohol with his sessions. It seems to keep your attention and keep you in the room, at least it works on Bill Buchan. Anyway, Rob brings to bear lots of boring business degrees and 16 years experience as a developer, administrator, consultant, and bartender to his sessions with the objective of delighting and educating his audience. He'll generally give away a mint's worth of free software. All he asks in return is, please be kind to your servers! Find him on Facebook as /RobNovak, Twitter and his blog as LotusRockStar, and by email (does anyone use that anymore?) at rnovak@snapps.com.

Ben has been working with Lotus Notes & Domino for 14 years, and started his full-time coder life in 1998. Since the heady days of Notes formula he has branched out into advanced Lotusscript, Java, Javascript, all sorts. He started knocking together web pages (with Lynx as his test browser) way back in 1993, the nerd.

Ben worked for a major global firm of accountants up until 2007, when he decided to venture out on his own. So far this seems to be working—who knew?

Ben has a wife and three young boys, is blond, and likes beer.
