Welcome to the UK Lotus User Group

UKLUG Leads Lotus User Group Discussion At Lotusphere
Thanks to everyone who came along to the Birds of a Feather session on setting up and running a user group. We had a big turnout that filled the room with a lot of very useful info shared. Nice to see participants from Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, USA, Thailand and elsewhere. We have set up a Facebook group to keep everyone in touch (linked off the 'Friends of Lotusphere' Facebook group).

UKLUG Sponsors 'UK Night' At Lotusphere 2010
Thanks to everyone who joined us at the 'UK Night' at Lotusphere. It was great to see that UKLUG star speaker Mary Beth Raven was there, and we were very pleased that both Bob Picciano (who gave such a great keynote at Edinburgh UKLUG) and Alistair Rennie dropped by. UKLUG was pleased to be a sponsor for 'UK Night' in partnership with Bluewave, HADSL, London Developer Co-op, The Turtle Partnership, Epilio, Collaboration Matters, LAN2LAN, Teamstudio, Time Technology, Portal Partnership and Meridian IT

UK Lotus User Group Conference 2009
Our UKLUG conference 2009 was a great success and thankyou to everyone who attended, to the many people who worked so hard to organise the event and to UKLUG's sponsors who made it all possible.

We have had some great feedback:

"I really enjoyed attending this event; many thanks to all the organisers, speakers and sponsors" Jon Urwin

"It was another great UK Lotus User Group in Edinburgh. Very well organised, by some great volunteers, and excellent value as it was free to attend" Paul Farris

"UKLUG is done for another year, and what a fantastic conference it was. Warren, Kitty and the rest of “Team Amazing” did the unthinkable yet again. I honestly have no idea how these guys manage to put on such superb events, and for free too" Ben Poole

"UKLUG was, to put it simply, the most professional LUG conference I have been to. Brilliant logistics, excellent food, everyone taken care of, great sessions, fantastic atmosphere, and a speaker list that you would only see at the biggest IBM conferences" Paul Mooney

This was one of the largest Lotus gatherings in the UK where Lotus professionals could share network to share experiences and best practices. We also had a wide range of technical sessions including some of the latest developments - such as Notes & Domino 8.5, Sametime Advanced and Lotus Quickr 8.5 - presented by some of the leading speakers in the Lotus community. Its only rarely that you get so many excellent speakers in one place outside Lotusphere.

The undoubted highlight of UKLUG 2009 was the excellent keynote presented to a packed opening session by Mr Bob Picciano, General Manager for Lotus Software. We were very pleased that he was able to make time in his schedule to present our keynote to a 'standing room only' crowd.

And to top it all UKLUG got a standing ovation at the end of the closing session!
